Nanaimo, Day 4, March 27th, 2013

Posted on 27. Mar, 2013 by Darron Froese in West Coast

Today we did a couple of dives on the HMCS Cape Breton and HMCS Saskatchewan.

Our first dive was a penetration dive - starting at the stern - working our way to the bow of the HMCS Cape Breton.

Our second dive started at the bow of the HMCS Cape Breton. Once we dropped to the sand, we navigated and scootered over to the bow of the HMCS Saskatchewan. Dropping off our scooters, we penetrated the bow, dropped down two decks and continued aft to the stern. We exited from the mortar bay and went up the port side of the wreck to pick up our scooters.

Once at the bow, we grabbed the scooters, Richard hitched a ride on the back of Sketchy's leg and we navigated back to the HMCS Cape Breton. Once there, it was time to hang on the upline while we did our required decompression.

Was a great day with two incredible dives.
