Halifax 2003, Set up - Day 2

Posted on 17. Mar, 2009 by Greg Mossfeldt in East Coast

July 17th

First thing in the morning, we finished mixing our gas. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating. Diving the submarine would be out of the question today. This wasn’t a big problem, as we could use the bad weather this early in the trip for further preparations to ensure that the rest of the trip go as smoothly as possible.

Although the compressor seems to be working, Greg ran into town to try to buy some parts that would improve the compressor’s performance. All arrangements are made so that we can start diving tomorrow, weather permitting.

Everyone is tired, so we can use this time to rest up for the days to come. Fortunately, we are being well fed and taken care of thanks to the entire Gray family. This gives us lots of time to focus on the diving to come.
